West Lafayette Little League is available for children who live within the West Lafayette School Corporation boundaries. The programs begin in April with skill clinics and Team Selection Day. Coaches hold practices and schedule practice games from then until the season officially starts May 5nd. A six-week season is followed by a two-week tournament, all of which finishes (weather permitting) by June 26. All-Star teams are selected and compete in July, hoping to advance to the Little League World Series in August.
BASEBALL -- Ages 9 - 12
Two competitive baseball leagues are available. The
BUSINESS LEAGUE is organized for younger or less skilled players of ages 9-12. A pitching machine is used as opposed to “live-arm” pitching. Games are scheduled at 5:30 p.m. The
BANK LEAGUE is composed of players ages 11-12, who possess greater skills. The games for the bank league are scheduled for evenings at 7:30 p.m. Questions about Baseball registration? Contact

SOFTBALL -- Ages 9 - 12
Two competitive softball leagues are available for girls, ages 9-12, based upon age. Girls 9 and 10 years of age play in the
MINOR LEAGUE, with games beginning at 5:30 p.m. 11 and 12 year-old girls play in the

SOFTBALL -- Age 8
Depending upon the number of girls registering for the various age levels, 8 year-old girls may be eligible for Minor League Softball this season. If you are interested in this option, there will be an information sheet available at WLLL Registration on Feb. 25 and 26.
JUNIOR SOFTBALL -- Ages 6 to 8
The intent of the junior softball program is to offer girls, ages 6 to 8, the chance to learn the skills, positions, and rules that they will later use in competitive team softball. Teams will play two games per week. 6-yr.-olds are strongly encouraged to have at least one year of tee ball experience.
